Whistler Weddings

Whistler weddings, photographed calmly and honestly.

Whistler gives you mountains, lakes and old forest within minutes of each other — and light that changes fast. I plan your timeline around it so the ceremony, family photos and portraits each land in the best light of the day.

I'm based in Vancouver and travel up the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) for Whistler weddings, elopements and engagement sessions. Expect gentle direction, plenty of candid moments and a gallery that feels like the day did.

Timeline around the light

Mountain sunsets come early behind the peaks — we schedule portraits for the softest light, not the clock.

Weather plans

Alpine weather shifts quickly. We pick a covered backup and keep the plan flexible.

Popular spots

Lost Lake, Green Lake, Alta Lake, Whistler Village and the Peak 2 Peak area are all favourites for portraits.

Yes. I'm based in Vancouver and photograph weddings, elopements and engagement sessions in Whistler and along the Sea to Sky. Travel is quoted with your collection.

When is the best time of year for a Whistler wedding?

Summer and early autumn give the most reliable weather and long evenings; winter weddings offer snow and cosy indoor light. We plan around whichever season you choose.

Where are good portrait spots in Whistler?

Lost Lake, Green Lake and Alta Lake are favourites for water and mountain views, and the forest trails near the village are lovely in soft light. Some spots require permits — I'll help you check.

Can we elope in Whistler?

Absolutely. Elopement collections start at $800 and can include a hike, a lakeside ceremony or a quiet forest spot.
